Enjoying..

Enjoying lots of things, finally! Things are getting better around here. Much better. Everyone who had lived in Germany told us how much we were going to "love" it here. We really thought we would. We didn't. We were ready to leave almost immediately. Now, warm weather, Drake has his license, I have a job, Shane is flying and we have a routine again and its not too bad. Beautiful actually. So many fields of flowers.

Shane is headed back to Iraq in 10 days. His orders say for 90 days. So happy about that. He will no longer need to do year deployments. He'll get some awesome flying in and be home.

Dev will be here in one month, with two friends. I can't wait. I found RT tickets to Italy for 12 Euro. Gonna book.

I am, surprisingly, loving my job. I love it. I love working part time. I can still do things that I want to do AND work. It's perfect and I will probably never work full time again. Hoping to find a part time paralegal gig when I leave here.

 And the latest in Survivor Challenges at Tally. Use a Sheenism title. Worked out great that Drake broke his wrist over the weekend. Longboarding. He chose to jump off rather than get hit by a car, without a helmet on, going 30mph down a steep hill. Wonder if he'll chose to get back on? We find out next week if he needs surgery. They're going to wait and let the bones settle.
